SPECIAL FIELD TRAINING TEPOZTLÁN MORELOS S SEPTEMBER 16 TO 19, 2021 Under the direction of Hanshi 10th Dan Masako Fujimoto-Stock

Itinerary

This is the activity calendar for the days that Hanshi will be in Mexico (from September 14 to 24). If you want to know the details, please request them through the CHAT (this page) or send an email to nahim@factor.mx (for privacy protection).

There are a few key dates that we recommend considering:

  • (September 14) From the airport we will go directly to Tepoztlán. We will have dinner in an open-air restaurant that will be available only to the Doshinkan group. Finishing, it is recommended that practitioners stay in Villa María, both for logistics and to take care of COVID issues together.
  • (September 15) Breakfast at Villa María. At 11:00 hrs (aprox) we will move to a nearby place – place only for Doshinkan people- (10 minutes walking). We will have a day of conviviality. The space is open and large garden. There is a pool for those who want to swim. Around 14:00 hrs we will have a Mexican meal (delicious pozole and guacamole). In the afternoon, practitioners will return to Villa María for dinner.
  • (September 16 to 19) The program begins with breakfast (8:00 a.m.) and ends after lunch on September 19, 2021. The training schedule is to be defined, it is likely to begin at 10:00 hrs During these days it is not possible to make outings from Villa Maria (please read information about the training place).
  • (September 19 – 24) Hanshi will stay at hotel La Buena Vibra, and after 21th in R. Nahim’s house. From this moment on, the house will be open for those who want to see or spend the day with Hanshi. Between the 20th and 24th some activities have been proposed: a couple of days in Tepoztlán and the other days in places near Tepoztlán (Taxco, Puebla, or LAS ESTACAS, others nearby beautiful places), whoever wants to join Hanshi is welcome. All places are 1 to 2 hours away from Tepoztlán.

For those who wish to join tourist activities please contact R. Nahim.

IMPORTANT: Hanshi wants to get to know each practitioner of México better. A way to organize meetings with interested practitioners will be provided. These meetings may be between training sessions or the days after the event.

The trainings are for all grades. Possible use of Bo, Sai, Nunchaku, Tonfa and Kama. Everyone must bring their weapons.

Training and lodging place

The training, lodging and meals will be carried out ONLY at the Villa María Inmaculada retreat center.

It is worth mentioning that Villa Maria Inmaculada is a retreat center, which is used for religious purposes, yoga, or meditative practices. It is not a place that functions as a Hotel. This enclosure is operated by nuns. They ask us to avoid going out or going in for sightseeing during the stay. In fact, there is no receptionist to open or close the door. The venue has over 60 rooms, but it will only be occupied for our Doshinkan event. During our stay there will not be cleaning service. They only give one towel per person.

Address: Av. Revolución S / N, Ixcatepec, 62525 Tepoztlán, Mor. (in front of Camp Camohmila).

COVID Context (Precautionary Rules)

To protect all practitioners, you will NOT be able to go to the venue if you are staying in another place.

For everyone’s safety, it will not be allowed to leave the premises to go sightseeing during the event.

To access the site it is NOT mandatory to carry a COVID test (antigen or PCR).

Single room is recommended to avoid risk. Bring mouth covers. No hugs.
